I'm a photographer, recipe developer, and food & travel blogger based in Chicago. I specialize in soft, clean, eye-catching food & drink photography and recipe development that focuses on simplicity & comfort. I'm also a firm believer that you should play with your food, and you should do so often.

Food has been a passion of mine for quite literally my entire life, so when I got my Bachelors degree in digital photography, it only made sense to merge my career and my biggest love together. I've worked in numerous bakery kitchens, operated my own online bakery from home, and run multiple small food blogs over the years. Now, I'm the owner of Vagrant Appetite, my food and travel blog where I recount my world travels and share delicious original recipes geared toward the average home chef.
